Abilities: She's got a love of horses and nature, and an innate talent to ride - she didn't need much practice to become a top rider. She also has a depth of strength and determination found in Eowyn.

Siblings:

indecisivegent (older brother) who she loves unconditionally, but gets frustrated with his indecisiveness. But she loves her brother dearly and wouldn't trade him for the world.

Religion: While her family is rather devote, she has fallen a bit on the wayside. She still attends Church but finds her mind drifting. Possibly because Eowyn didn't have that religion in her time. She goes to Mass with her family at Holidays, though and doesn't speak of her thoughts.

Personality:
She can be incredibly ambitious, often exist in a state of total ego, and if misused or hurt, can nurse the wound and seethe for decades. She is often the kindest, most compassionate, and most forgiving people of all, for they have seen their own inner darkness, faced it, and do not run from it when they encounter it in others. Aspen embodies some of this and can't help some of the other traits that happen along the way. Over all she's a caring woman, who would give her shirt to help a friend.

On the exterior she doesn't appear to be much more than a slip of a girl crossing the line from child to woman. She's obsessive about being truthful. Lies can run across the world before Truth can get it's boots on but she'd rather bring out the truth before speaking a lie. That isn't to say she doesn't, or can't, lie - because she has and can. She's inherently stubborn and tenacious, so even if something seems impossible she WILL try.

She will attempt to survive it and excel. "Even if it kills me" is a phrase that can be heard from her lips when she's trying. She's made of elegance and charm and has wonderful taste. She can be sensitive to the needs of others and have the gift, sometimes to an almost psychic extent, of understanding the emotional needs of their companions and meeting them with their own innate optimism - they are the kind of people of whom it is said, "They always make you feel better for having been with them."

Aspen had a problem opening up to people. While she's gotten over that, to a point, she still can't just spill her life story to people. Horses understand her, they don't argue with her, and they don't break her heart. Asp's only had one serious boyfriend, during the first year at Pierce College. They never got very far because she found him cheating on her with a girl who would sleep with him. It left her broken and she flung herself into school and riding. She came out of the entire experience light hearted and relaxed - the family is extremely close and they leaned on each other all the time for everything.

A History Lesson:
Aspen Rose was born on July 4th 1989 - the eventual middle child . The setting for this was Blackshear, Georgia, making this darling little girl a Georgia Peaches. She was born on a farm - which always raises sturdy children. From the time she could walk and talk and handle a feed bucket, she was doing chores. It started with the feeding of chickens and upgraded from there to taking care of the bigger animals. Life on a farm wasn't easy but it built strong girls - in both muscle and character.

Aspen was into sports - at least as far as horses were concerned. She was always the shy one, in school, too. Out of her siblings she was the most likely to be found in the barn late at night. Despite their personality differences, they were as close as could be, and never went long without speaking to one another. By the time Aspen was ten, she was riding horses - by using her own horse and mucking out extra stalls at her trainer's barn, she had lessons and show fees covered.

She attended and graduated from High school and managed to get a scholarship to Pierce College in LA for Equine Sciences (and the Riding Team). Being the second to leave home was rather odd feeling - and she left with promises to write constantly and talk to her parents. All through her childhood she spent time in the barn or on the back of a horse - so much so she wanted to do all that for her living. She's tried her best to be at the top of both her class and the riding team.

It was the first time she spent a long period of time away from her family, but she bravely packed up her things and moved into the dorms on beautiful Pierce College's campus. She was spotted in the second year of her college career by a trainer from back home, and approached on the idea of going professional with her riding. She declined, only because she wanted to finish school first, but they nagged at her and so she finally agreed, only as long as she can balance both.

Holidays are surprisingly Aspen's favorite time of year - she loves being with the zoo that is their family, and enjoys the warmth of all their lives sorting themselves out and watching everyone fall back into old habits, which includes waking up super early and working the farm. She hopes to fall into being a professional rider with her own stable some day and a small farm - she loved her life growing up and wants it to be hers too.

Appearance:
Aspen isn't overly tall - she's about 5'6" - but she's lean and lanky. She's got muscle build that gives her weight, and dark hair that she's proud of, although it often lightens in the summer. Despite being a Georgia Peach - she's never one to shy from hard work and it often shoes. She'll have dirt under her nails and hay in her hair. She is always tanned - but it's not from a tanning bed or lying out in the sun - she works outside as much as possible. She loves the outdoors. She often wears breeches, tall boots and an under armor shirt to classes - as she often races to the barn after wards. Otherwise she's in comfortable, well worn jeans and shirts. The only thing she spends real money on are her show clothes otherwise second hand is good enough for her.
